During a routine inspection

We spoke with five people who used the service. All of the people we spoke with confirmed they were very pleased with the service provided by Northampton START, people said the agency provided a very reliable and professional service. People told us the staff respected their wishes and we found their people’s personal preferences and daily routines were recorded within their individual care plans.

We received the following comments from the people we spoke with. "The service you get is first class, excellent; the staff are always well turned out, they do a really good, professional job”. “I only wish we could use this service in the long term, you hear so many stories of bad care in the press, services like this should be highlighted, so people know there is really good practice taking place as well”. “The staff are great; they go over and above and are professional in every way”.

We found there were support systems in place to supervise and train staff to ensure that people using the service received safe and effective care.
