During a routine inspection

During our visit we did not speak face to face with people who used the service. Instead we interviewed eight people after our visit by telephone. People and their family told us they felt treated with dignity and respect by friendly, caring and efficient staff and they were very happy with the care they received. Comments included, 'Very happy with the care, no issues at the moment'.

Staff were supported to carry out their roles and responsibilities and received a comprehensive induction training programme. All staff had undertaken Disclosure and Barring (DBS) checks (formerly known as Criminal Records Bureau checks).The provider had a number of processes in place to monitor the quality of service which incorporated systems to identify and address issues and concerns. People we spoke with told us that they were confident that any concerns they may have would be addressed. One person said, "I have raised issues and changes have been made".
