Seacroft Court Care Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 50 older people, some of whom live with dementia. At the time of our assessment there were 21 people living at the service. This assessment was conducted between 9 August 2024 and 21 August 2024. We assessed this service as it has been in Special Measures since 1 September 2023. At the last inspection, we found breaches of regulation and concerns in relation to risk management, safeguarding and governance and leadership. At this assessment we looked at 15 quality statements across the 2 key questions of safe and well-led and found the service had made improvements and is no longer in breach of regulations. Risks to people’s health, safety and welfare were now assessed and mitigated. People were protected from the risk of abuse due to improvements in staff training and knowledge. Improvements in governance systems meant the provider and registered manager were better able to assess and monitor the quality of the service and drive further improvement. The service is no longer rated inadequate overall or in any of the key questions. Therefore, this service is no longer in Special Measures.
