Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The registered provider must within 28 days of this condition coming into effect clearly set out leadership and managerial roles and responsibilities in place to support the effective running of services at location level and the provider’s central team.
The registered provider must within 28 days of this condition coming into effect develop and implement adequate cover arrangements and contingency plans to cover any long periods of absence of any leaders or managerial staff at all three locations.
The registered provider must within 28 days of this condition coming into effect have adequate systems in place to carry out an assessment of risk at each location and ensure remedial action is taken to minimise risk. This must include assessing the risks associated with health and safety at the premises, fire risk assessments, infection prevention and control and adequate safe staffing.
The registered provider must within 28 days of this condition coming into effect have adequate systems in place for the monitoring of all service users with long term conditions to ensure they are appropriately recalled, reviewed and monitored to ensure effective and safe care and treatment is delivered.
The registered provider must within 28 days of this condition coming into effect review and update the system for handling significant events. This must include how all significant events are captured and recorded, how learning is implemented and shared and how significant events are monitored to ensure required improvements are made and sustained.
The registered provider must within 28 days of this condition coming into effect implement a system to manage complaints. This must include oversight of how all complaints are investigated, how learning is implemented and shared and how complaints are monitored to ensure required improvements are made and sustained.
The registered provider must within 28 days of this condition coming into effect implement an effective system for supervision of all clinical staff This must include supervision, oversight and monitoring of prescribing practices and clinical decision making.
The registered provider must within 28 days of this condition coming into effect implement a system for staff appraisal and feedback to the registered provider. This must be documented, and any identified required actions must be implemented and monitored.
