During an inspection looking at part of the service
Is the service safe?
There were systems and processes in place to monitor infection prevention and control. People were protected from the risk of infection because appropriate guidance had been followed. Staff had been appropriately trained in infection prevention and control.
Is the service effective?
The provider had developed a recruitment process to ensure people were cared for by staff who were of good character. Appropriate pre-employment checks had been completed.
Is the service caring?
This inspection was a follow-up inspection to look at previous non-compliance. During our last inspection in December 2014 people were all consistently positive about their experience.
Is the service responsive?
This inspection was a follow-up inspection to look at previous non-compliance. During our last inspection in December 2014 people attending the clinic were satisfied with the service they received.
Is the service well led?
There were systems in place for managing risks in infection prevention and control. Appropriate pre-employment checks had been carried out.
