During a routine inspection
People told us that they understood the care and treatment choices available to them. They told us that they had been fully involved in the decision to use the service and that they had been given enough information about the different treatments available to them. People using the service told us 'The staff went through all of the benefits, risks and limitations of the different treatments. They were very clear about this,' and 'Before the operation I had lots of questions which the staff answered superbly. Their answers were realistic and prepared my expectations well.'
People told us that they were happy with the care and treatment they had received. They told us that staff provided ongoing support following their surgery. People using the service told us 'Post operative care has been great,' and 'There is always staff available at the end of the phone to put me back on track."
People told us that there were systems in place for them to raise any concerns about the service provided. A person using the service told us "I would have no problems talking to the staff if I had any concerns.'
