14 March 2012
During a routine inspection
A person we met with during our visit on 14 March 2012 was relaxed and comfortable in their home and were able to choose what they wanted to do.
This person told us that they liked watching football, although they didn't like going to the stadium because they couldn't see it properly. They also told us how they liked knitting and showed us some photographs of themselves and things that they had made. We were also told that they went to a day service four days a week and that they enjoyed it.
The person we met with during our visit appeared happy and content and responded positively with staff interactions, which we saw were person centred and respectful. We also observed the person's body language and saw that they were relaxed and comfortable with the staff who were on duty during our visit.
