During a routine inspection
During our inspection visit to Blisworth Close we spoke with six people using the service and two relatives. We also spoke to three members of staff and the manager.
People living in the home expressed satisfaction with the care and service that they received. They told us that the staff looked after them well and took them on holidays that they had chosen in their meetings. One person told us 'Staff are very nice and they take me to the theatre and shopping'. Another person told us that they went to day care and enjoyed this. The people also told us that they liked the food and discussed the menu for the week with care staff. They also told us if they had any concerns they would speak to the staff and they would listen to them.
We spoke to two relatives who visited Blisworth Close on a regular basis. They told us that the place was always clean, pleasantly decorated and homely. They said the care provided by staff was 'brilliant' and they worked very hard to provide people using the service the best quality care. They also told us that all the people using the service got on well with each other and this was observed on the day of the Inspection visit.
