During a routine inspection
We spoke with two people's relatives and they made positive comments about the staff and were satisfied with the quality of support their family member had received. Their comments included: 'I am very satisfied and I would recommend the service' and 'I don't have to worry, (family member) is receiving good quality support and (family member) is happy in the shared house'.
We visited nine people in their supported living accommodation. People told us that they felt 'safe' living in their home and that they had no worries or concerns. Some people were not able to share their views verbally to us. From our observations we did not observe any concerns regarding safeguarding of people who used the service.
We found that the service had robust recruitment policies and procedures in place that the registered manager followed when employing new members of staff.
The provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people received.
