Governance, management and sustainability

Regular checks and audits were completed and actions were added to the service improvement plan to ensure there was continuous improvement.

The registered manager told us how the staff team work together to ensure people receive the best outcomes. At the previous inspection, we made a recommendation in relation to window restrictors, to reduce the risk to people of falls from height. The registered manager confirmed suitably robust and tamper proof window restrictors have been fitted. Electronic care planning and medicines systems have been introduced and staff had been working on improving records. The registered manager told us they had good relationships with other professionals; they shared information and best practice. There had been a number of improvements to the environment and further work was planned.
