Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
1. The registered provider must provide a report to the Care Quality Commission (CQC) within two weeks of the date of this notice, setting out:
a) The actions taken to ensure an effective system for the assessment and management of environmental risk at Lady Forester Residential and Day Care Centre is in place and being implemented and how appropriate timely action would be taken to address any identified risk.
b) The actions taken to ensure an effective system for meeting the requirements of Schedule 3 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 is in place and being implemented.
c) The actions taken to ensure an effective system for the management of medicines is in place and being implemented.
d) The actions taken to ensure an effective system for the monitoring of service user’s health conditions and that care records are accurate, complete and contemporaneous.
e) The actions taken to ensure an effective system is in place for the governance, including assurance and auditing systems of Lady Forester Residential and Day Care Centre and how appropriate timely action would be taken where quality and/or safety are being compromised.
2. On the first Monday of each month, the registered provider must provide CQC with evidence that:
a) An audit of staff recruitment files has been undertaken, setting out action taken (or to be taken) as a result of the audit.
b) A health and safety audit of the environment at Lady Forester Residential and Day Care Centre has been undertaken, setting out action taken (or to be taken) as a result of the audit.
c) An audit of medicines at Lady Forester Residential and Day Care Centre has been undertaken, setting out action taken (or to be taken) as a result of the audit.
d) An audit of care plans has been undertaken, setting out actions taken if records were not accurate, complete and contemporaneous. This audit is to include the monitoring of service user’s health conditions.
e) The registered provider has had oversight and scrutiny of the governance at Lady Forester Residential and Day Care Centre.
Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The Registered Provider must not provide nursing care under accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care at The Lady Forester Residential & Day Care Centre.
The Registered Provider must only accommodate a maximum of 16 service users at The Lady Forester Residential & Day Care Centre.
