During a routine inspection
We spoke with two people who used the service. They were pleased with the care and treatment that they had received. One said "The staff here are really fantastic. Everything was better than I expected". People said that staff were courteous and helpful and that they felt safe in their care.
People felt well-informed and involved in their care and treatment. They were told about any risks associated with their treatment and were asked to give written consent before any procedures took place. We saw that staff assessed the individual needs of each person that used the service and devised a treatment plan that was safe and appropriate.
There was a system in place to monitor the quality of care and treatment given. We saw evidence that comments and complaints were listened to and that further investigation took place if necessary. information gained from audits was analysed and used to make improvements indicated.
Staff were supported and managed effectively and were encouraged to increase their skills and knowledge. They kept good records of the care and there was good communication between them. This resulted in the delivery of high standards of care to people who use the service.
