All the staff we spoke with demonstrated a good understanding of the needs and preferences of this individual. The service has also worked closely with all the relevant health and social care professionals to develop a communication passport to ensure this person is able to express their views and make informed choices about how they live their life.
We were told during out visit the person who uses the service likes clothes and food shopping and staff actively encourage and support this individual to pursue this interest.
166a Selhurst Road is decorated and furnished to a very good standard, and feels like a very comfortable and homely place to live. The bungalows overall appearance is one of a modern, well-kept, and presented home. The bungalow and its grounds are also accessible for people with mobility needs.
The service looked very clean and tidy throughout, and smelt fresh.
