During a routine inspection
We spoke with people who visited the clinic for their post operative consultation. A person told us, 'I've had a really excellent time actually. There is a 24-hour helpline which I haven't needed.' Another person said, 'I felt comfortable to ask anything I needed.' Another person told us that at the initial consultation they felt under quite a lot of pressure to make a decision at that point. They said, 'I would have felt easier if someone had said go away and think about it, and come back in a week.'
People we spoke with were mainly very positive about the laser eye surgery they had received and no situations were described which involved incidents with the laser equipment. People we spoke with appreciated the support they had received from staff.
