During a routine inspection
We asked staff to tell us how they ensured patients were given choices in their care. One staff member told us 'Choice is always discussed. I check they (the patient's) are happy, we give one to one care'.
We looked at two files for patients they obtained all the relevant information for example, documentation of the consultations, completed consent forms, Medical history and personal details.
We looked around the clinic and observed all areas were clean and tidy and free from clutter. There was hand washing sinks with liquid soap and paper towels available in all treatment rooms.
The staff member we spoke confirmed they were supported to access to training and that they were up to date with all their training. They told us they had received supervision and had annual appraisals.
There were regular audits completed. We saw evidence of monthly audits on, complaints and medicines management. There were comments on issues and actions plans recorded.
