During a routine inspection
People who used the service were involved and consulted on decisions relating to their care and support. One person who used the service told us, 'They (staff) give me choices and always ask if I want my hair washed when I have a shower. They will ask me what I want to eat.'
The care and support provided met people's needs and people felt safe when their care worker attended their home. One person we spoke with told us, 'I feel safe with the carers, they always treat me dignity and respect.'
Care workers we spoke with could explain the procedure for handling and administering medication safely. However the provider's training records showing who had completed medication administration training required updating.
The provider welcomed and respected people's views and acted on them.
