Seabourne House Care Home is registered to provide care and support for up to 48 people. There were 43 people living at the service during this inspection. This is the first inspection for this newly registered service therefore we inspected all quality statements under the key questions of safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. The inspection was carried out between 29 January and 6 February 2025. People had detailed, individualised care plans and risk assessments in place. People had access to a wide variety of activities. Medicines were managed safely. Staff knew people well and were knowledgeable about their care needs. Safeguarding procedures were in place to ensure people were protected from avoidable harm. People were involved and consulted in their care and their views were respected. Staff referred people to healthcare professionals in a timely manner. There were enough staff to support people and meet their needs. Governance systems were in place to ensure oversight of the service. Staff were valued and supported with their learning and development. Health and social care professionals were complimentary about working with the service.
