At the lasted rated inspection this key question was rated as good. At this inspection the rating has remained good. This meant the service was managed by leaders who created a culture aimed at promoting high-quality, person-centred care. The registered manager had developed a clear governance system and constantly looked at how to make improvements. They encouraged continuous learning, innovation and improvement across the organisation. The registered manager had acted swiftly to review fire management systems last year, strengthened them and ensured staff had robust fire risk assessments to follow. Following the report from the infection control unit highlighting issues such as the need for new fridges, which had not been raised by staff they worked with staff to ensure they understood the governance processes and raised any identified gaps in practice in a timely manner. Staff discussed how they could speak up, share ideas around improvements and the operation of the service. They felt their views were taken on board.
