During an inspection in response to concerns
One person told us they had been asked about their care needs prior to their admission but had not been asked since. 'The staff fill in a form with questions that I've answered, but no-one's sat with me to explain what will happen next.'
One person said they would prefer to have their breakfast at an earlier time but had been told it was impossible to do this.
One person told us they thought they were at risk of developing pressure sores and although they had a pressure relieving cushion, they had not been told why it was important to sit on it and they were using it for other purposes.
People told us: 'The staff are friendly, they pop their head round the door and ask if I'm ok'. 'The staff only know my needs when I tell them.' 'There is a care plan but I've never seen it and I've not been asked to sign it.' 'I've been laid in bed and the buzzers are going off left, right and centre and there's only two staff on duty.'
