During a routine inspection
Those people we saw during our visit were obviously content with their surroundings and the staff who were looking after them. It was difficult to gain any verbal comments because everyone was so excited about Christmas and going shopping, but one person raised their arm when asked if they were alright. Another kept repeating yes.
From observations we made we concluded that people are very well looked after, are treated with dignity and respect by the staff team and have a good quality of life.
We have judged this provider to be non compliant with some aspects of the cleanliness and infection control quality and safety standard. This is because they have not identified a lead person within the service who is responsible for leading on the prevention and control of infection. We have asked them to make improvements to ensure they achieve and maintain compliance.
