During an inspection looking at part of the service
People told us they were happy and settled at Alver Bank. One person told us 'This place has a good feeling and staff are very kind'. People said they liked the activities in the home and the religious service held daily.
People were protected from the risks of inadequate nutrition and dehydration. People told us they enjoyed the meals provided. Staff supported people who required assistance with feeding. One person said 'They feed us well here'.
Staff were supported by the provider with their professional development through training, supervision and appraisal.
The provider ensured that Care Quality Commission was notified of incidents appropriately.
