During a routine inspection
Two people told us that they had come to live in the home about two months ago. One said, 'I am happy, very happy. I like my Keyworker and the staff ' very nice'. The other said, 'I like it here, I have a nice big room and I can change it round to make it look bigger. I like my room and the staff'.
They told us that they could choose what to do and that they were being helped to gain more independence and understand and manage their money better. One person told us about their ethnic background and indicated that the staff supported them to find out more about the country of origin of their family.
People told us that they could choose what to eat and what to do. One person showed us their room and showed how they had been able to personalise it with the things they liked around them.
