People we spoke with told us they were satisfied with the care and support being provided and that their choices were respected. Staff had a good understanding of the needs of people who used the service and said they felt valued and supported in their roles. People we spoke with were complimentary about their care staff and felt comfortable with the care being provided.

We looked at the records of ten people who used the service and found care plans were detailed and thorough and provided clear guidance to staff about how the persons' care and support should be delivered.

Staff had received appropriate professional development and told us they felt supported to deliver safe and effective care.

The service had an appropriate quality assurance system and records were accurate and well maintained.

We found the provider delivered care that was inclusive of people's experience in a manner that fully supported people. We also found evidence of the provider ensuring people using the service were cared for by suitably trained staff. Regular reviews of the needs of people using the service were carried out and if considered necessary the care package was adjusted in order to continue to meet those needs.
