During a routine inspection
People live in an environment that is safe, accessible and homely. People are supported to maintain a balanced diet that reflects their preferences and supports their health. People who use the service are protected from abuse and their human rights are respected and upheld.
People receive co-ordinated care and are supported to access the health and social care services they need. Medicines are managed safely and people are supported to take their medication when they need it but medication records do not always state whether people have any known allergies.
People who use the service are kept safe by the provider's recruitment procedures. People who use the service are supported by staff who understand their needs but some staff need refresher training in core subjects.
The provider regularly monitors the quality of the service people receive and aims to make improvements based on the feedback of people who use the service, staff and other relevant people. The provider takes people's complaints seriously and gives them an appropriate response. People can feel confident that that their personal records are held securely.
