During a routine inspection
People told us that they were involved and consulted about the care and support they received whilst they were at the hospice. They commented that they received an individual service that was based on their own needs.
People said they were given information about the service and one person said that 'It exceeds expectations'.
All nine people spoke positively about the quality of the care and support provided at the hospice. They spoke highly of the qualities, kindness, skills and knowledge of the staff.
We observed a relaxed atmosphere with positive relationships between people and staff. There was lots of talking and laughter between people, staff and volunteers.
People said that they knew how to raise any concerns or worries and that they felt safe at the hospice. None of them had any concerns and they were confident that if they raised any concerns that they would be addressed.
