During an inspection looking at part of the service
We told the provider they must make improvements to meet the essential standard. The provider sent us an action plan telling us how they would achieve this.
In August 2011 information was shared with us that raised further concerns about staffing levels in the home. We asked the provider to send us some information including staff duty rotas and details of staff training so that we could determine how many staff were on duty.
We made an 'out of hours' visit to the service arriving at 9pm to review the staffing levels during the night shift.
