During a routine inspection
People's care needs were recorded in a person centred plan of care that was kept under regular review. Risks to both people using the service and staff were assessed and recorded and plans to monitor and reduce risks were in place.
Staff training records showed us that staff had received training in protecting people from risk of abuse or harm. Four staff that spoke with us were aware of their responsibilities.
Staff were well trained and well supported by the office and received additional training specific to the people they were supporting.
There were processes in place to assess and monitor the quality of the service being provided. People were involved through the use of questionnaires and monitoring visits from the office.
A family member told us. 'We have had the same carers for sixteen years. They are excellent and we have complete confidence in them'.
