Updated 16 July 2024
Date of assessment: 23 July 2024 to 25 July 2024. We found one breach of the legal regulations in relation to governance. Governance systems and audits were not effective in identifying or promptly addressing areas for improvement. Some improvements were still required to the way people’s safety was managed. This included in relation to the way people’s individual and environmental risks, work across staff teams and how elements of medicines were managed. However, we found people’s medicinal patches were now regularly rotated, to help to prevent people from experiencing poor skin health. People did not have to wait long if they wanted support from staff, and staff were safely recruited. People were supported to have choice and control and could give feedback on their care. There was continued effective joint working with other health and social care professionals and community groups. Health and social care professionals were positive about the joint working arrangements and gave us examples of good outcomes achieved by people as a result of the care provided at Meadow View. We have asked the provider for an action plan in response to the concerns found at this assessment.
