During a routine inspection
We saw that assessments about people were carried out to ensure the service was appropriate for meeting their needs. We found that reviews of people's support were undertaken, to ensure that support was appropriate for them. One person told us that staff, 'Make sure I have what I need' whilst another said, 'Staff listen and treat me courtesy.'
We were told by people they felt safe with the staff. One person said, 'I want to do what I can, but feel safe with them', whilst another said they, 'Never had any hesitation not to trust them.'
There was a staff training plan to ensure staff could carry out their roles. People told that staff were 'Doing a good job.' One person said, 'They know what they are doing 'and that they were, 'Really pleased with them.' Others said staff were, 'So kind and nice.'
There was evidence that learning from incidents and investigations took place and appropriate changes were implemented. People told us they were aware of the complaints procedure and were confident appropriate action would be taken if it was required. One person told us, 'I Have a daughter who would soon complain if there was a problem.' Other told us they had, 'Nothing but praise' and had no complaints about the service.
