During a routine inspection
We spoke with six people about the care and support they received. We also talked with four members of staff. A member of staff told us, "people have a really good lifestyle and are well looked after". A person said, "I am happy here".
Peoples' wishes, preferences and routines were discussed with them. Their care records reflected these ensuring that their care and support was person centred. One person said, "I am very busy" and other people told us about the clubs, day centres and church they attended.
People were involved in choosing their meals. They helped to shop for food and prepared and cooked meals if they wished. Where people had specific dietary needs for instance gluten free or vegetarian these were respected.
There were systems to safeguard people from potential harm. One person told us, "this is a safe house for me". All people spoken with confirmed they felt safe. They said if they had any concerns they would talk to their key worker.
There were sufficient staff with the skills and knowledge to ensure people received consistent care.
