Cartello Ambulance is operated by Cartello Adams LTD. The service is registered to provide the following regulated activities: Transport services, triage and medical advice provided remotely. Cartello Ambulance main service is transporting NHS patients discharged from hospital or attending outpatient appointments. There was a registered manager in post at the time of the assessment. The on site assessment visit took place on the 7 March 2024.

We were only able to speak to one patient as part of the assessment. They told us they had been on several journeys with the service and they had been very pleased every time. Overall they felt staff were friendly, that they were moved safely in and out of the vehicle, that the vehicle they travelled in was clean and tidy and looked well maintained. The service collated patient feedback through patient questionnaires. As part of our assessment we reviewed the patient questionnaires for the last 3 months; we found the feedback was mostly positive with comments such as excellent service, kind and helpful crew and that the ambulance was lovely, warm and very comfortable.
