During a routine inspection
People commented on how good the treatment they had received had been, and most said that they liked many of the members of staff, particularly the nurses and the kitchen staff.
People also liked the range of therapies offered on weekdays, such as shiatsu, acupuncture and Indian head massage.
Although most people we spoke to said they liked the food at the service, they also said they felt there were not enough available snacks between meals and that the food meal portions were not big enough. Other areas which people thought could be improved were staffing levels, access to accompanied walks, activities at the weekends, and improvements to utilities and facilities.
