During a routine inspection
At Surrey Children's Domicillary Care Service we found a programme of care that clearly supported individual's and their families with their needs both within and outside their home environment. This care programme ensured that people who used the service were protected from the risk of abuse.
All the evidence collected about staffing demonstrated that there were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff to meet people's needs and staff were positive about the training they had received and the practicalities of providing it at evenings and weekends.
From the evidence collated it was clear that people who used the service and their families were asked for their views about their care and support provided and they were acted upon. In addition there was a system in place to assess and monitor the quality of the service provided.
