Records we looked at confirmed that people had been involved in the assessment and planning of their care which helped staff support them in a way that suited their needs. The service responded to their changing needs and wishes. We were told by people using the service that staff "will do their very best" to meet the needs and wishes of the people they cared for.
People told us that the agency arranged staffing so that they received care and support from a small team of care staff. We spoke to people using the service who confirmed that they were always informed in advance which member of staff would be attending the following week and if there were to be any changes. People we spoke to said that staff were generally punctual with visits and notified them if there was any delay to their visit time.
People we spoke with confirmed that staff used the correct equipment and followed procedures to ensure that care and support was delivered safely. They said that staff were competent and knew what they were doing. They told us that staff were helpful and friendly and respected their privacy, dignity and independence.
We looked at annual questionnaires that had been sent out to monitor the quality of service provision. They showed us that people were happy with the service.
