During a routine inspection
We spoke with five people who lived in three different houses who said they thought it was a good service and they could not think of anything that they wanted to change. The comments we heard included 'My carers are smashing'; 'I like my carers. They are all nice people'; 'I like to go to the cinema on a Sunday with my carer' and 'I have just had my room decorated. I picked the new wallpaper for my room and the new carpet for the lounge.' All the homes we visited were l clean, tidy and well organised.
We checked care records for six people and found that they received the care and support that had been assessed, planned and agreed. We spoke with five staff members who told us that they received good training and they were well supported by the team leaders.
We found staff members were aware of their responsibilities to protect vulnerable adults and they had received relevant training about this. The people who we asked told us that they felt safe with all of the care staff who supported them.
