Yew Tree nursing home is registered to provide accommodation and nursing and personal care for up to 41 older people, including people living with dementia. At the time of our inspection visit, 39 people lived at the home. We carried out an unannounced onsite visit on the 22 October and returned announced on the 6 November 2024. We carried out this assessment to follow up on improvements we asked the provider to complete at their last inspection in September 2022. At this assessment we found that the service had improved and was no longer in breach of regulations. During the assessment we looked at records relating to people’s care, spoke with 10 staff including the registered manager, 4 people that used the service and 4 relatives. We also looked at how the service was managed. The scores for the quality statements we assessed have been combined with scores based on the key question ratings from the last inspection. The overall rating of this service has changed to good.
