During a routine inspection
People were treated with respect and their care and welfare needs were being met. One person said 'totally respectful. They ask me what I need and encourage me to do things.' Systems were in place to safeguard people from abuse and people told us that they felt safe with the staff. One person said 'I feel safe with them, they know what they are doing.' A relative told us 'I trust them to do it. She is safe with them.'
Some people received support with their medication and staff had received training to enable them to do this. One person told us 'they give me my tablets. They take them out of the box and they write it down.'
Staff received the training and support they needed to carry out their duties and to support people who used the service. The provider monitored the quality of the service provided to ensure that people were receiving a safe service that met their needs.
