People had been given information about the service in pictures and easy-read language to help them with their communication needs.
People were individually supported by the service to understand any care treatments.
People were supported to take part in monthly meetings with their key workers so that they made their own decisions about their future goals, needs and lifestyles.
People were very involved in household matters in their home, such as making drinks, tidying up, and making decisions about menus and mealtimes.
People showed that they 'liked' their own bedrooms, and were involved in choosing the decoration. People could choose to spend time in any part of their home.
There was clearly a good relationship between the people who lived here and staff. People chose to spend time with staff, and enjoyed going out to social activities with them.
