During an assessment under our new approach

Date of Assessment: 27 January to 5 February 2025. All in one Multicare Services is a care at home service providing support to adults, including people who required end of life care. At the time of assessment, the service was not providing direct care to people but in the previous months it had provided care to 16 people who lived in Leeds. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do; we also consider any wider social care provided. This was this service’s first inspection since its registration. We reviewed all quality statements.

We made two recommendations during this inspection; one in relation to safe recruitment because some areas of recruitment required improvement and a second one about the level of detail in care plans. People were supported and received care from staff who knew them well and understood their needs. Staff felt well supported and had received appropriate training. There were policies and procedures in place in relation to safeguarding and whistleblowing. The quality assurance systems in place were proportional to the size of the service.
