During a routine inspection
We found that people experienced care and support that met their needs. Up to date care plans were in place which were clear and easy to understand. One care staff told us "Care plans have the information needed to care for people".
There were appropriate safeguards in place to protect people who used the service. Staff were trained in safeguarding adults and were aware of what to do if they had any concerns. Staff told us they understood the whistleblowing procedures.
We spoke with four care staff who said that they felt supported in their roles. One care staff said "I get the training I need" and it was a "Good company to work for". We found that care staff received regular training in key areas and that this was refreshed as necessary.
We found that there were effective systems in place to monitor the quality of the service. People were asked for their views and the provider took action to make improvements if concerns were raised.
