Fareni Lifecare Limited is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care to people living in their own homes. At the time of the assessment, there was 1 person receiving personal care support. We completed this assessment on 17 May 2024. This was a responsive assessment, covering 7 quality statements. We looked at Safeguarding; Involving people to manage risks; Safe and effective staffing; Assessing needs; Independence, choice and control; Equity in experiences and outcomes and Governance, management and sustainability. We found 4 breaches of the legal regulations in relation to safe care and treatment, staffing, recruitment and governance. Risks to people’s health and safety were not managed effectively. Staff had not been recruited safely or provided with appropriate training and support to carry out their duties safely. The provider did not have effective governance processes in place. In instances where CQC have decided to take civil or criminal enforcement action against a provider, we will publish this information on our website after any representations and/or appeals have been concluded.
