During a routine inspection
There was a system in place to assess and monitor the quality of the service that was being provided.
The clinic offered general advice about staying healthy and what should be avoided when travelling, as well as immunisations. Staff were aware of what they should do if they suspected anyone had suffered any kind of abuse.
The consultation room was clean and the service had an infection control risk assessment and policy in place. Staff had received training regarding infection control.
The immunisations people had received were recorded on their personal records. A member of staff completed a medication audit on a daily basis to ensure records accurately reflected the stock levels of medication.
Staff were given the support they needed through training, meetings and supervision.
