Caring
We found this practice was providing caring services in accordance with the relevant regulations and had taken into consideration appropriate guidance.

Kindness, compassion and dignity
Feedback from care homes was very positive, and included comments on the kindness and caring nature of staff and that patients were treated as individuals.
Staff were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights. Staff were aware of the importance of privacy and confidentiality. Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles.
We did not receive any information from partner organisations.
The premises were protected by closed-circuit television to improve security for staff. Siting of CCTV cameras was appropriate and relevant signage was displayed. Information governance arrangements were in place and staff were aware of the importance of protecting patients’ personal information. Paper records were stored securely and complied with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). Staff treated patients with kindness, respect and compassion.
