During a routine inspection
We met a person who had telephoned the practice the day before because they had a broken tooth. They said it was not unusual to be able to get an emergency appointment at short notice. They said 'The staff are fine, they know their jobs'.
Another person, who had been attending the practice since they were a child, said they were happy with the service they received.
People's needs were assessed and treatment was carried out according to their individual treatment plan. There were records maintained and these were audited. Other audits were carried out to monitor the quality of the service provided including gaining the views of people who used the service.
Arrangements were in place to deal with unforeseen emergencies and staff were trained in resuscitation techniques as part of their continuing professional development. Staff told us about other training they completed and said they felt supported.
