During a routine inspection
People told us that they had always had good treatment at the practice. Several people commented that staff had been reassuring when they had felt nervous and had always listened to their concerns and responded appropriately. Comments we received included, 'Very reassuring' and 'I would recommend them to anyone'.
People told us that they staff had always obtained up to date information on their health and explained proposed treatments and fees to them before commencing treatment. We noted that information was available within waiting areas and that staff verbally explained information to people as well.
We found that the practice was clean and tidy with good polices and procedures used for meeting hygiene requirements. People waiting for treatment confirmed that they had always found the practice clean and that staff had always used disposable covers, gloves and goggles when needed.
Policies and procedures were in place for dealing with complaints and identifying and reporting any safeguarding adult's and children concerns that arose. We found that staff had a good knowledge of these.
