Kindness, compassion and dignity

Regulations met

Two weeks before our onsite assessment, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 36 patients. Comments received noted the friendly and caring nature of staff, good communication and the high quality of dental care. Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice.

Staff were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights. Staff were aware of the importance of privacy and confidentiality. Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles. Leaders described how they supported the wellbeing of staff.
