During a routine inspection
We spoke people who were visiting the practice during our inspection. People were complimentary about the service they received. One person told us; "Fantastic, the dentist is lovely."
People told us they were treated well at this practice and they were happy with the service provided. One person we spoke to said; "Staff are very polite, seem very well trained and know what they are doing.'
People told us that the practice was always clean when they attended. They told us that staff regularly washed their hands and always wore gloves and other protective equipment when they were being treated. One person said; 'It's always very clean and tidy, staff are very professional.'
We saw that the practice had a comprehensive risk assessment process relating to potential hazards. These risk assessments included; equipment, electrical hazards, fire, x-rays, sharp objects and waste disposal.
We spoke to staff and it was clear they knew how to deal with complaints and that they could escalate them appropriately if they were not able to resolve the complaint themselves.
