During a routine inspection
Everyone we spoke with was satisfied with the treatment provided at the service. Patients felt involved and informed in their care and treatment. One patient told us "My treatment was explained very well and I was provided with lots of information." Another said "I got information on how to look after it (their brace) myself."
Treatment was planned and delivered safely and effectively. There were appropriate records of patients' assessments and treatment plans. The practice was prepared for medical emergencies.
Hygiene and infection control guidance was followed and appropriate checks were undertaken. Dental instruments were disinfected safely.
The provider regularly assessed and monitored the quality of service provided. There were systems for assessing and managing risks in relation to the services provided.
