During a routine inspection
People were very positive about the service they received. They told us 'I am very happy. I wouldn't go anywhere else.' People commented on the questionnaires 'Very good' and 'An excellent service'.
We found that people had been provided with information both about the service in general and in relation to their own dental care.
People's needs had been assessed before they received a service and they had been involved in making decisions about their treatment.
It had been made clear to people whether they were to receive their dental care privately or on the NHS. They were told about any fees payable and provided with a proposed treatment plan that they had been asked to sign.
The clinic was clean and there were processes and procedures in place to manage the risk of infection.
Checks had been made on staff when they were recruited.
The provider had systems in place to monitor the quality of the service they provided.
