During a check to make sure that the improvements required had been made
We found the provider had taken necessary steps to ensure they were assessing and monitoring their service effectively.

During this inspection we found the provider had made significant improvements to ensure people who used the service were protected from the risk of infections. The provider now had appropriate arrangements in place to protect people's health and welfare in an emergency.
At our last inspection we also found concerns in relation to how the service identified risks in relation to people's health and welfare and how the service sought people's views of the service to influence how it was run. We did not review this standard during this inspection because we needed to allow the service more time to ensure they have effective systems in place to assess and monitor the service.
Three out of four of the people we spoke with told us they were very happy with the service provided. They said the dentist was 'very good', 'never had any problems and always referred to other specialists quickly'. One person told us 'I had a tooth taken out and didn't feel a thing'.
One person told us they were not happy with recent treatment provided and were going to consider discussing this with the dentist. We looked at the practice complaints log which showed there had been no complaints raised in the last year.
During our inspection we found the practice had not followed appropriate guidance in relation to common dental medical emergencies and infection control practices to ensure people were safe.
We also found concerns in relation to how the service identified risks that could affect people's health and welfare.
